Towards Future Library as Urban Anchor
Through the analysis of domestic libraries, we could find that they are biased by formal spaces(reading and books), while international trend are interested in various public or cultural spaces for users.
In Urban situation, the library is not any longer only for the storage of knowledge.This place is a hybrid-platform where librarians inform and different kind of people can meet and unexpected events can occur.
This means that the information should be able to flow out of the building and the city should be able to flow inside. Ultimately, this project seeks open-space foropen-society. Users can get around without any partition, and inside & outside area is a coexistent space of learning, work, meeting and playing.
